Fortnite Battle Royale Season 4 is coming soon!


The next season of Fortnite: Battle Royale is right around the corner. With the last set of Season 3 challenges now live and the next component of the meteor mystery seemingly live, Epic Games has released a new teaser image for what Season 4 will have in store--and it might be superhero-themed.

Epic shared the image below on Twitter, accompanied by the text, "Battle. Adapt. Win. Season 4 coming soon." The same image on Fortnite's website is accompanied by the words, "Brace for impact!" The image itself shows what looks like a superhero, which may provide some hint at what kind of new skins and cosmetics to expect from the Season 4 Battle Pass. Season 3's skins are largely space-themed, which ties in with the ongoing meteor and alien speculation. With Avengers: Infinity War just hitting theaters, Epic might be looking to capitalize on the superhero buzz in-game.

A start date for Season 4 has not yet been announced, but Season 3 is set to wrap up on May 3. It's unclear if Season 4 will start right away, but you can expect there to be another Battle Pass for sale. Epic had planned to sell Season 3's for real-world money but ultimately decided to offer it only for V-Bucks, an in-game currency.

There were many fan predictions about what kind of season 4 theme the comet would bring, whether it be dinosaurs, aliens or a post-apocalyptic wasteland after the comet hit. But no one was predicting…superheroes? What can we make of this?

There are a few options I can see here:
  • A superhero of some sort is literally the comet itself, streaking toward the earth and will arrive not by blowing up a portion of the map, but simply landing and introducing himself as the tier 100 skin.
  • The comet is a comet, but a superhero shows up to save the map and Tilted Towers from the comet, as we’ve seen many superheroes do when the earth is threatened
  • The comet hits and superhero(es) arrive to clean up the mess.Honestly, if this is a superhero themed season, the comet actually hitting now seems a lot less likely than it did yesterday, as that’s exactly the kind of thing a superhero’s arrival would prevent. Does this mean Tilted Towers is safe? Not necessarily, but I do think that after all this time, it would almost be kind of a letdown if season 4 arrived and Tilted was left unscathed, spared by the presence of some new superhero
Well it's all we know for now and it may not be 100% true but season 4 is going to be FUN and better then the previous seasons and we can be sure about that.
